Description:
The vehicle safety shutdown consists of two devices:
1. Fuel Shutoff Valve
2. Battery Isolation Unit

Both are designed to reduce the risk of a motor vehicle catching fire when the vehicle is involved in an accident.

Both devices greatly reduce:

• Deaths and burn injuries from car crash fires
• Trauma, suffering and disfigurement for crash survivors
• Public medical health system costs
• Insurance payouts

Unique Benefits:

Fuel Shutoff Valve

• Blocks fuel from coming out of the petrol pump
• Reduces to zero the normally high fuel pressure in the delivery pipe to the motor
• Instantaneously converts the delivery pipe from a pressure to a vacuum pipe
• If the fuel pipe is ruptured, the valve prevents highly volatile fuel spray

Battery Isolation Unit

• Turns the ignition off
• Disconnects the main battery lead, isolating the vehicle's electrical system

Status of Innovation:
A US provisional patent application has been granted. Prototypes of the two Vehicle Safety Shutdown devices have been manufactured and tested. Consultation with motor vehicle manufacturers and governing safety authorities has commenced. The website is currently being developed.
